city festival

Deedee and Rachel, this sounds like a really interesting idea. There are also several people (I am one of them) who are working on ideas for a large city-wide festival in Brisbane that we would like to hold in the fall of this year. This idea also came up at these "Big Idea" meetings. I think that we need to organize the group here on sosbsd and discuss this.  We really want to coordinate our efforts!

Completely agree that we should get on organizing the group to talk about these events (and/or if it makes sense to combine as much as possible into one city wide event)

Moderators? Group leaders? Can you help us get going on this? I told Rachel I can co-lead the events group if needed.
