This morning I went out and snooped in all my neighbors recycling bins to find out who I still need to reach in my area.  I found almost everyone had put at least 1 CRV container into their recycling.  Even people who I know are with the program.  So question is, can we get 100% participation and is it important?  Im planning on covering a different block every week. 

Im planning on publishing a map that will show which blocks are being covered and by who.

I still need to follow up with the City of Brisbane about the all hours drop center.

I met Buzz today and he is super great!  He is the sort Master!!!  We are lucky to have him and I didnt even know he was on the team until today!  Welcome Buzz.

I also noticed that Brisbane Hardware dosnt have a regular recycling bin for non-CRV containers.  Personally Im in this for the school but Im also in for the environment.  I will talk to Billy and see if we need a regular recycling container for the other stuff.

Buzz also mentioned that the current recyling center wont take some things that say CA Redemption (instead of CRV).  My feeling is not to make this fact public at this time.  If we change facilities, then this might change and I feel like we will really really confuse people if we give them a moving target.

Since we dont all use the computer, I decided what we really need is a bbq so we can get together face to face!   Greg and will make BBQ chicken and corn.  Let me know if you are interested in bringing something.  Kids are welcome.

Can everyone come on May 25th 5:30-6ish?  I have already talked to Fe and will call Sue.  If any of you know other people who are not sosbsd.org members but part of the recycling group, can you please invite them?
