One of the most important things for the future viability of our schools is to pass the arts and music parcel tax that is up for renewal in March, and then propose and pass a second tax on the fall ballot in November. These parcel taxes will provide the critical funding needed to keep our curriculum well-rounded, and our schools open for instruction.

We won't be able to pass these measures if we don't vote, though, and in February 2011, only 39% of the Brisbane School District parents were registered to vote! Click on the Register to vote online! link, and get registered! Make sure that all of your friends know how important it is to register to vote, and then follow through and cast a ballot.
